Office Administrator
This is an exciting opportunity to work with mid-sized Property Management Company in a busy, fast paced environment.
The Role of the Office Administrator will be filled with a candidate who is ethical, energetic, friendly but professional, maintains a positive attitude, highly motivated and is willing to keep up to date on industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with tenants, clients, vendors, associates, and other related parties
- Maintaining tenant, client, and company records
- Tenant payment and collection processing
- Eviction processing
- Lease creation & renewal
- Tenant maintenance request & inspection processing
- Involved in tenant procurement and move in/move out process
- Assist with obtaining new clients
- Assist with processing client statements, pay outs and maintaining ledgers
- Pay vendors, clients’ and company bills
- Assist with development and updating policies & procedures
- Maintaining calendar and scheduling
- Other administrative task such as answering phones, filing, and submitting supplies requisition forms
Required skills/experience
- 5 years of office administrator experience with 3 of those years working in the property management industry
- Experience with Propertyware or similar software
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Pay close attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Strong ability to prioritize, multi task and manage heavy work load
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and assist in difficult or emotional tenant and client situations
- Good problem solving
- Must be willing to work alone often while still being productive
